3. Adding a service call


Adding a service call is done by filling in a simple but comprehensive form covering all aspects of the call. Required fields are highlighted with a red background.

Selecting the customer is the first choice as this will dictate the service levels made available. Also when entering an order # you can check whether it is unique to that customer.

When choosing the service level the target date will be adjust to include the number of lead days and hours dictated by the chosen service level. If there are no service levels available for that customer then a manual target date can be entered.


The property details can be searched for from the details of existing service calls. Alternatively the name and address fields can be entered manually.

Finally it just leaves the fault description and any other additional information to be entered.
