9. Adding Customer Parts


A parts list is optional for a customer but can serve as a great time saver when specifying and invoicing for works that have been carried out.

A part is specified by category, code, name and cost with the optional ability to add a description.


Although a parts list will be specific to a customer it can be cloned to other customers and then adjusted as required. This saves a lot of time when setting the lists up initially.

Another tool that is available is the ability to increment all prices within a category by either a specified amount or a specified percentage. The price change can be applied as a positive or negative change to the cost of the part.
